I DON’T KNOW WHAT SHE WILL NEED,

INA KUKOVIC BOROVNIK

I TRY TO NOTICE WHAT I CAN LEARN WITH HER

…what she learns seeps through my intentions, my “lectures”, good intended readings or spaces I create for her. She learns most from all the indirect communication that happens without me saying anything.

I wanted to share these pieces and thinkings as they all come from being part of an event with Nora Bateson International Bateson Institute on learning within families, just yesterday. As she says, family is: trans-contextual mutual learning in complex living systems.

Not easy to just read through, I know. My invitation is to notice who you are in the moments with your kids, beyond what you say or do with them. What are they learning? If you don’t have kids, I invite you to notice who you are with your other family members and what could you be learning with them?

Are we holding the warmth in relationship that allow for mutual learning?

A Monday mood post with love.
